3D-1 Crossing to Oman History
Experience the history of Oman.
Tour Time: 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1:  Start your adventure tour of Oman.  Leaving in the morning we will visit Nakhl - Wadi Bani Awf (walk and swim through the wadi).  Next, travel across the mountains to the fascinating and hidden mountain village of Bilad Sayt.  Then we will travel to Al Hamra and then continue up the mountains to the peak of Jebel Shams - Sun Mountain which is the highest peak of the Jebel Al Akhdar mountain range, soaring 3,000 meters above sea level. Spectacular scenery and remote villages - this is the "Grand Canyon" of Oman.  This is where we will sleep for the night in comfortable cabins or traditional Omani Tents and enjoy dinner and conversation around the camp fire.

Day 2:  Next morning after an enjoyable breakfast if you feel like an short hike we will walk along the edge of Oman's Grand Canyon.  From this amazing vantage point you will enjoy incredible views of the mountains and the rugged landscape.  Then we will continue the tour and travel through Wadi Ghul and Al Hamra.  In Al Hamra we will visit Bait Al Safa - a traditional Omani house where you will see how Omanis used to live.  Next we visit the village of Misfah, which is an ancient village perched on the mountainside.  You will walk down winding paths into the heart of the village with fantastic views of the wadi below and the terraced gardens of lime, banana and date trees.  From here, we continue to Nizwa where we will stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 3:  After breakfast we will explore Nizwa.  We will visit the traditional Souq where there will be an opportunity to purchase and see many traditional Omani things.  After this you will take a tour of the famous Round Fort - one of the finest forts in Oman and take a walk around the old city of Nizwa.  After lunch we will drive through the mountains back to Muscat.  You will take with you a very rich experience of the Omani people, customs and culture.

Experience all facets of Oman.
Tour Time: 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1:  Beginning in the morning we will drive through the magnificent Hajar Mountains via Fanja, Sumail and Izki, to the township of Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman. You will be visiting Bahla, Jebrin and Al Misfah village - an incredible mountainside village - spending the night at a hotel in Nizwa.

Day 2:  After breakfast we will visit the traditional Nizwa Souq where there will be an opportunity to purchase and see many traditional Omani things.  After this you will take a tour of the famous Round Fort - one of the finest forts in Oman.  Next we will travel to the golden Wahiba Sands arriving in the afternoon in time to watch the sunset across the dunes.  Experiencing the sunset at the top of the Wahiba dunes is inspiring and at night you will enjoy the entertainment and hospitality of a permanent desert camp.  We will stay overnight at the permanent camp.

Day 3:  After breakfast there will be an opportunity to ride a camel, meet with a nomadic Bedouin family, purchase souvenirs and be exhilarated by 4Wheel dune driving.  Next we will travel to Wadi Bani Khalid.  At Wadi Bani Khalid we will take an easy walk to the brilliant blue rock pools and there will be time for a refreshing swim in the wadi before commencing our journey back to Muscat.  You will have lasting memories of the desert, history, wadi and people of Oman.

3D-3  Oman Beach & Desert
Experience the three dimensions of Oman.
Tour Time: 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1:  Starting from Muscat and travelling south east we drive through the fishing port of Quriyat, the coastal village of Tiwi and the ancient seafaring township of Sur. Our final destination for this day is Ras al Jinz - the famous Turtle Beach located on the edge of the Arabian Sea.  Here we will spend the night at the permanent camp and enjoy the hospitality of the Omani people.  Ras Al Jinz is one of the few nesting places of the giant green sea turtle and at night you will have the chance to see these majestic creatures come ashore and lay their eggs by the light of the stars.

Day 2:  Your day of discovery will commence as you travel to the ancient seafaring township of Sur.  Sur is where the traditional wooden Omani Dhows are made.  It also features many fine old homes with carved doors and arabesque windows.  It offers great photo opportunities and we will stop in Sur for lunch before continuing our journey to Wadi Bani Khalid through the Eastern Hajar Mountains. At Wadi Bani Khalid we will take an easy walk to the brilliant blue rock pools and there will be time for a refreshing swim in the wadi before continuing on to Wahiba Sands.  Experiencing the sunset at the top of the Wahiba dunes is inspiring and at night you will enjoy the entertainment and hospitality of a permanent desert camp.

Day 3:  Next day there will be an opportunity to ride a camel, meet with the nomadic Bedouin, purchase souvenirs and be exhilarated by 4Wheel dune driving. From here you commence your drive back to Muscat bringing with you fantastic memories of Oman.  This is a relaxed tour with plenty of time at each of your locations.

3D-4  Natural Oman
Experience the natural wonder of Oman.
Tour Time: 3 days and 2 nights

Day 1:  Beginning in the morning we will drive through the magnificent Hajar Mountains through Fanja and Ibra to Jalaan.  From here we will drive into the sands to an amazing natural desert forest of Gaph Trees.  Next, a drive through the sand dunes to the forest which will be our camp site - set amongst the trees.  Enjoying the desert under the shade of the trees is a remarkable experience.  This evening we will experience the romance of this very unique location.  Dinner will be a BBQ and enjoyment around the campfire. There will also be an opportunity to visit a Bedouin family and experience very traditional hospitality. 

Day 2:  After breakfast we will drive through the desert to the fishing village of Qurun on the Arabian Sea.  Once we arrive on the coast we will continue along the coast passing many fishing villages - Al Ashkharah, Asaylah and Ar Ruways arriving at Rus Al Hadd and Rus Al Jinz - the famous Turtle Beach where we will spend the night at the permanent camp and enjoy the hospitality of the Omani people.  Ras Al Jinz is one of the few nesting places of the giant green sea turtle and at night you will have the chance to see these majestic creatures come ashore and lay their eggs by the light of the stars.

Day 3:  After breakfast we head off again, this time we are heading towards the coastal city of Sur, driving through Qalhat to the famous village of Tiwi.  At Tiwi we will visit Wadi Shab which is considered one of the most beautiful wadis in Oman.  You will have ample time to hike through this wadi and enjoy exploring and swimming.  Again the scenery is spectacular and certainly an experience you will remember forever.  After walking and swimming in the Wadi we will drive to the spectacular Bama Sink Hole.  This Sink Hole is the best in Oman.  The water is crystal clear and the setting outstanding.  After enjoying some time there we will travel to the township of Quriyat and then through the mountains back to Muscat.

You will return to Muscat with an experience of the natural wonder of Oman, including the Desert Forest, Giant Green Turtles and Wadis.
