2D-1 Oman Mountain
Crossing
Overnight

 Day 1:
Start your adventure tour
of Oman. Leaving in the
morning we will visit
Nakhl - Wadi Bani Awf (walk
and swim through the wadi).
Next, travel across the
mountains to the fascinating
and hidden mountain village of
Bilad
Sayt.
Then we will travel to Al
Hamra and then continue up
the mountains to the peak of
Jebel Shams - Sun Mountain. Here we
will camp overnight at the
permanent camp and enjoy the
fantastic atmosphere of being
at the very top of
Oman.
Day 2:
After breakfast we will
continue the tour and travel
through
Wadi
Ghul
to Nizwa, at Nizwa we
will visit the traditional
Souq where there will be
an opportunity to purchase and
see many traditional Omani
things. After this you
will take a tour of the famous
Round Fort - one of the
finest forts in Oman and take
a walk around the old city
of Nizwa.
Then we will drive through the
mountains back to
Muscat.
On return to
Muscat
you will have memories of
hidden mountain villages,
wilderness and the history of
Oman.

2D-2 Extreme Oman Wadi
Hike

 Day 1:
Your tour begins by driving
along the magnificent Batinah
coastline. From Barka
heading south to the Oasis
of Nakhal. Here you
will visit the 17th Century
Fort. Next, travel across the
mountains to the fascinating
and hidden mountain village of
Bilad
Sayt.
This is an amazing village of
winding pathways. We
will walk through the village,
there are great photo
opportunities and you will
have a chance to meet with the
local people. From here we
will travel to our campsite
which is at the mouth of
Snake
Canyon.
Day 2:
Next morning after breakfast
we will commence our hike
through the canyon.
Snake
Canyon
is by far the most diverse and
challenging wadis. Every bend
is a photo opportunity. Jumps
into the crystal pools range
from two to six meters into
deep waters. The caverns add
fun and extra challenges to
the trek. Snake Canyon
is an awesome hike although
definitely not considered to
be easy but, having completed
it you will feel inspired.
The name "Snake
Canyon"
refers to the serpentine
effect created by the water
cutting through the mountains
and the wadi snaking through.
Snake Canyon is cut into the
mountains and offers a
fantastic trip past
waterfalls, through rocks
pools and over boulders. Our
hike of approximately 6 hours
will have you jumping into
pools of water and swimming in
caves under the mountains. At
places, it is so narrow that
you can barely swim between
the sides of the mountain.
This canyon is for the
adventurous spirit and
requires a level of fitness.
You will need to be an able
swimmer in addition to being
capable of climbing and
jumping from boulders. Snake
Canyon offers a sense of
discovery within the winding
gorge which will keep you
occupied for many hours.

2D-3 Oman Grand Canyon Trek

 Day 1:
Your tour commences by
travelling through the Hajar
Mountains to the township of
Nizwa,
the ancient capital of Oman.
At Nizwa you will visit
Nizwa Fort and the
Traditional
Souq.
From here we will continue to
the beautiful old village of
Misfah.
The village of Misfah is
perched on the side of a
mountain where narrow ancient
stone pathways lead you into
the valley below.
Next, we will travel to
Jebel Shams,"Sun
Mountain" which is the highest
peak of the Jebel Al Akhdar
mountain range, soaring 3,000
meters above sea level.
Spectacular scenery and remote
villages - this is Oman's
Grand Canyon.
This is where we will sleep
for the night in comfortable
cabins or traditional Omani
Tents and enjoy dinner and
conversation around the camp
fire.
Day 2:
Next morning after an
enjoyable breakfast we will
start our hike. The
Jebel Shams mountain hike will
have you walking along the
cliff face on goat trails,
narrow ledges and passages. It
is one of the most popular
treks in Oman and is known as
the "Jebel Shams Rim Walk".
From this amazing vantage
point you will enjoy
incredible views of the
mountains and the rugged
landscape. The views
from the trail are spectacular
and offer unparalleled vistas
of Wadi
Nakhr.
This hike has all the
ingredients of high adventure.
Commencing from the village of
Al
Khateem
situated on the edge of the
mountain at a height of 2,000
meters, you will hike
approximately about 5 hours
depending on the length of
time you stop and enjoy this
incredible location. You
will pass an abandoned village
perched on the mountain side
and then on to a secluded
lagoon balanced on the cliff
face. There will be time for
you to swim across the waters
of the lagoon and explore the
caven
with its amazing variety of
ferns and mosses. You
will find that the views are
unsurpassed throughout
Oman
and will leave a lasting image
of this incredibl e"Grand

2D-4 Beach & Wadi

 Day 1:
Starting in the morning you
will travel through the
mountainous and desert
landscape arriving at the
coast. We will continue
travelling through the
villages of
Dibab
and Finns and arrive at
Wadi Shab - wadi
meaning "gorge between
cliff". Your guide will take
you for a visually
breathtaking, easy walk
through the Wadi. A long walk
past the green grass, banana
and mango trees along the
narrow winding, old rock paths
will bring you to a series of
streams and pools. You
will have the opportunity to
swim through a pond of crystal
clear water and swim through a
narrow keyhole, surfacing
inside a magnificent cave
filled with crystal clear
water and an inspiring
waterfall.
After you are refreshed you
will travel to the white sands
of
Tiwi Beach
where we will set our camp for
the night. It is a
magnificent site to have a
camp fire and a BBQ dinner.
Day 2:
Next morning after breakfast
we will travel to the dramatic
Bama Sinkhole. There
will be time to visit the
Sinkhole and enjoy a
refreshing swim in the
pristine water. On
your return trip you will
travel through the
township
of
Quriyat
for a quick visit. You will
return to Muscat with a
lasting memory of Oman.

Day 1: Your
adventure begins in the
afternoon when you commence
your tour to Ras Al Hadd,
the nesting beach of the
Giant Green Turtle. To begin
you will drive through the
townships of Quriyat,
Tiwi and arriving at the
ancient seafaring township
of Sur where we stop
for visit and lunch. From
here you will travel on to
Ras Al Hadd and then
to Ras Al Jinz, The
famous Turtle Beach.
Your tour experience will
include watching the giant
turtles lay their eggs in
the light of the stars.
Day 2:
Next
morning
after
breakfast, we head off
again, this time we are
heading towards the the
famous village of Tiwi.
At Tiwi, we will visit
Wadi
Shab
which is considered one of
the most beautiful wadis in
Oman. You will have ample
time to hike through this
wadi and enjoy exploring and
swimming. Again, the
scenery is spectacular and
certainly, an experience you
will remember forever.
After walking and swimming
in the Wadi we will drive to
the spectacular Bama Sink
Hole. This Sink Hole is
the best in Oman. The water
is crystal clear and the
setting outstanding. After
enjoying some time there we
will travel to the township
of Quriyat and then
through the mountains back
to Muscat.

Wadis

Wahiba's are desert in
the romantic sense of the
word. Rolling sand dunes,
varying from deep red to a
rich honey color, stretching
as far as the eye can see.
This is the traditional home
of the nomadic Bedouin.
Day 1:
Starting in the morning you
will travel into the Al Hajar
mountains through Wadi Al
Aqq
across the desert plains
through the townships of
Ibra and Al Qabil.
Your destination is the Golden
Sea Sands of
Wahiba
Desert.
At Wahiba
you will experience 4WDriving
on the sand dunes as well as a
visit to a Bedouin community.
Experiencing the sunset at the
top of the Wahiba dunes is
inspiring and at night you
will enjoy the hospitality of
a desert camp. We will spend
the night in the permanent
camp where we will enjoy
dinner and conversation around
the camp fire.
Day 2:
After breakfast, there will be
the chance for you to ride a
camel and the opportunity to
meet with the Bedouin women
and purchase their traditional
handicrafts. From here
you will travel to Wadi
Bani Khalid for an easy
walk along the riverbed with
ample time to cool down in the
crystal clear waters of the
rock pools. As we travel back
to Muscat there will be many
